Zlatan Ibrahimović inspired Sweden to victory in their Euro 2012 warm up match against Iceland.

The AC Milan ace hit the opening goal before setting up PSV Eindhoven’s Ola Toivonen for the second as the Swedes went two ahead.

After hitting five goals in eight qualifiers, coach Erik Hamrén will be hoping Ibrahimović carries this form into the competition.

Toivonen only netted twice as Sweden finished as the best runners-up to seal their place in Poland and Ukraine.

Kolbeinn Sigthórsson pulled one back for Iceland before the interval before Christian Wilhelmsson restored the hosts’ two-goal lead.

A goal in injury time from Hallgrímur Jónasson brought the game to a close.

Sweden’s final warm up game is against Serbia on 5 June before their Euro 2012 campaign starts against co-hosts Ukraine on 11 June.
