Ross County have followed up yesterday’s signing of striker Paul Di Giacomo by snapping up 22-year-old right back Gary Miller.
Miller made his first team debut for Livingston at 18 in the SPL, and appeared 20 times in league games for Ross County during season 2007/2008, when they went on to lift the Second Division Title.
Manager Derek Adams commented: “Gary is a player I know well from his loan spell here and since then I have kept my eye on him.
“He is an adaptable player with great pace who can also play in midfield, and he comes back to us having got a lot of First Division football under his belt at Livingston having made over 30 appearances last season.
“There’s no substitute for experience and Gary has certainly continued to develop and improve as a player since he was last with us,” he added. “He’s a very valuable addition to the squad.”
Pleased with the way the squad is shaping up, Adams confirmed that Miller was unlikely to be the last summer acquisition.
“With an earlier than usual start to the season there is a wee bit of pressure on us to get the squad in place,” he said, “but it is important that we bring in the right players.”
