Top players of all nations are drawn towards the biggest leagues, meaning that more and more often each pool is drawn from the same dominant competitions.

Debate around the morals of such things are for other places. If nothing else, it throws up some interesting pieces of trivia.

Today's teaser focused on the ten non-English players from the Euro 2012 squads who have scored 30 or more goals in the English Premiership.

The answers

Nicklas Bendtner Denmark's main striker has scored exactly 30 times in the English Premiership, registering 22 goals for Arsenal as well as eight times whilst on loan at Sunderland.

Kevin Doyle The Wolves and Ireland striker has managed 37 goals in his five seasons in the Premiership. He scored 19 for Reading before adding another 18 for Wolves.

Damien Duff Ireland's winger Damien Duff has spent 14 seasons in the English top flight, with four different clubs. He has also managed 51 goals in that time.

Cesc Fabregas Spain's midfielder scored 35 times for Arsenal during a seven-year career in north London. He moved to Barcelona at the start of 2011/12.

Robbie Keane LA Galaxy's prolific forward played for four different teams in his Premiership career. Keane scored 126 goals for Coventry, Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

Dirk Kuyt Kuyt may have just moved to Turkey, but the Dutch forward scored 51 times in six seasons while at Anfield.

Florent Malouda Chelsea's French winger has scored 35 goals in the Premiership, including 12 in 2009/10 and 13 in 2010/11.

Cristiano Ronaldo Surely everyone got this one, no? Real Madrid's Portuguese international scored 84 goals in the Premiership for Manchester United. He actually broke the 30-goal mark in one single season, netting 31 in 2007/08.

Fernando Torres Chelsea's Spanish international has recorded 72 goals in his Premiership career so far, including 38 in his first two seasons in England, with Liverpool.

Robin van Persie The Dutch forward has scored 96 goals for Arsenal in his eight-year career under Arsene Wenger. He has become especially deadly in the last two seasons, scoring 48 goals since the start of 2010/11.
