Marc Antoine Fortune’s agent reckons that his man will complete the transfer from Nancy to Celtic in the next 24 hours after some finer details have been ironed out.
Fortune flew into Glasgow yesterday to take a closer look at the club’s facilities, prompting agent Michael Manuello to admit the deal is all but done.
He said: "Marc has made his decision and he will be in Glasgow on Tuesday. He will look around the club and do some things which I do not need to be at.
"We still have some details to discuss with Celtic. It is nothing major but with every transfer you have to take care.
"There are some discussions to be finished but if things are normal he will sign for Celtic.”
The French club’s website confirmed that Fortune was in Glasgow despite interest from a host of English clubs including Hull City, West Ham United and Fulham, who have all held talks with the player.
Manuello added: ''I'll arrive on Tuesday night and I expect that by Wednesday night everything will be okay for him to sign. We are aware that the squad is going to their training camp in Australia on Thursday."
