Northern Ireland attacker Dean Shiels has been unveiled as Rangers’ latest signing.
The former Kilmarnock and Hibernian forward has agreed a four year deal with the Ibrox club following discussions with Charles Green’s outfit.
The 27-year-old was a free agent after leaving the Ayrshire side in May and passed a medical this week.
Shiels was shortlisted for the Scottish Player of the Year award last term after a number of impressive displays for Killie.
The Arsenal youth product netted 15 goals after arriving at Rugby Park from Doncaster Rovers.
He becomes Rangers’ second new face of the summer, alongside ex-Hearts man Ian Black.
The pair join the Glasgow team in Division Three after the club was forced to re-start from the bottom tier following the liquidation of the old company and transfer to a newco.
Rangers started their campaign with a 2-1 extra time victory over Brechin City at Glebe Park in the Ramsden’s Cup.
