IN: Lee Robinson (free), Graeme Owens (free), Mark Burchill (free), Mark Brown (loan).

OUT: Allan Johnston (released), David Lilley (free), Grant Murray (free), Willie Gibson (nominal).

Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies had said his transfer business was complete before the deadline, but found the time to take on board Celtic third choice 'keeper Mark Brown on loan until January as cover for the injured Alan Combe.

Joining him in competition for the gloves is former Rangers kid Lee Robinson, following his release from Ibrox after three loan spells in the Scottish Football League at Morton, St Johnstone and Queen of the South over the past two years.

Replacing Allan Johnston's aging legs on the wing is former Middlesbrough trainee Graeme Owens, whilst Mark Burchill returns from a spell down south to try and rediscover his scoring touch in the top flight.

Also on the way out this window at Rugby Park is defender David Lilley, who moves to Queen of the South; Grant Murray, who joins Raith Rovers; and Willie GIbson, who has moved to Dunfermline Athletic.

Jefferies' biggest coup of the window though may well turn out to be holding onto giant striker Kevin Kyle, who has proved a revelation since his move to the club late last season.
