St Mirren's Paul Gallacher has been called up to the Scotland squad to replace Craig Gordon, who withdrew after suffering a broken arm at the weekend.
Gordon was officially ruled out of the squad for next Saturday's friendly against Wales in Cardiff this morning and Gallacher will now have the opportunity to claim his ninth Scotland cap.
The 30-year-old showed his current form on Saturday with a strong performance against Rangers, stopping a host of strikes but succumbing to two tap ins from Kris Boyd as the Glasgow side won 2-1.
Sunderland keeper Gordon suffered a fractured arm in a collision with Jermaine Defoe during Tottenham's 2-0 win on Saturday. He had to be replaced in goal by Marton Fulop halfway through the second half.
In more injury news for George Burley, Rangers defender Steven Whittaker is a doubt after he was taken off during the 2-1 win over St Mirren with a hamstring complaint.
A Scottish Football Association spokesperson said: "Craig is obviously out but we are still waiting on news on Steven Whittaker.
"The players are not due to meet up until Tuesday morning at Glasgow airport so we will have a better idea then."
