The group stages of the European Champions League 2012 were drawn on Thursday.

Celtic are Scotland’s only representatives in the biggest tournament in world football, along with English sides Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

The first matches will be played on September 18 and 19, while group stage matchday two will be October 2 and 3, and three will take place on October 23 and 24.

The fourth group stage ties will be held on November 6 and 7, matchday five is scheduled for November 20 and 21 before the final group games will be held on December 4 and 5.
