Hearts have confirmed all their players and staff have been paid their August wages.
The club had delayed payment to six players and two members of staff, including manager John McGlynn.
Hearts said the delay was caused because it had not received “guaranteed income” when the wages fell due on Monday.
In a statement released on the official Hearts website, the club confirmed the remaining balances had been transferred.
A spokesman said: “The manager and players have been paid. Full salary payments were made this morning.”
Under new SPL guidelines, clubs must inform the league within 48 hours if payments are delayed.
The SPL board was due to discuss the matter at its monthly board meeting at Hampden on Friday, with a transfer embargo a possible sanction for clubs who do not pay players on time.
That meeting has now been put back until Monday, September 24.
