See St Johnstone’s Liam Craig find the net for the first time this term

Liam Craig opened his account for the season to ensure St Johnstone followed up their win against Celtic with another three points against Ross County.

Having netted seven times in 41 appearances for the club last season, the 25-year-old popped up to put his team 1-0 ahead in Dingwall.

It was his 34th goal for the McDiarmid Park men after signing from Falkirk.

Craig played a key role as ten-man Saints claimed all three points, providing the cross for Frazer Wright to head home the winning goal.

He shot low to find the bottom corner of the net on the half-hour mark before Rowan Vine saw red.

Sam Morrow found an equaliser midway through the second period but Frazer Wright stepped up to meet Craig’s corner to ensure County were beaten for the first time in the top flight.
