Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels hailed the match officials for overturning the decision to award Dundee an early goal in the Scottish Cup clash at Dens Park.
Steven Milne placed the ball in the net while the game was 0-0 but after awarding the goal referee O’Reilly consulted with assistant Charlie Smith before ruling it out for offside.
Ross Chisholm’s flick from Ryan Conroy’s pass meant the officials made the right call and afterwards Shiels said: "It takes a good person to admit when they're wrong and they did that. It was hard to see what colour of shirt it was in the sun. I couldn't see what happened but seemingly he was well offside.
"I don't know how they established that but they had a discussion and one of them took charge of the situation and I felt that was very, very good by the officials. If it had been the other way around, maybe I would have another view.
"We spent the first 25 minutes trying to stifle the tribal environment," he said.
"Dundee deserve credit for that and they had the lion's share during that period.
"Having stifled that we got a goal, I would say against the run of play.
"We got in at half-time and discussed it and made changes to get more pressure and domination of the ball
"We achieved that but unfortunately we conceded just after the interval.
"It was poor play in the midfield, timid tackling. It was fantastic by the referee to play Dundee a good advantage.
"Then we conceded a penalty and Cammy Bell proved his quality.”
