Ross County midfielder Michael Gardyne is set to sign a pre-contract agreement with Dundee United according to reports.
The former Celtic youth is set to sign a two-year deal with the SPL side this week say the Daily Express.
Gardyne has been with Derek Adams’ men for four years after joining from Greenock Morton in January 2008.
The deal is expected to be confirmed later this week as long as there are no problems with the 25-year-old’s medical.
He has scored nine goals so far this season as the Victoria Park side have opened up a lead at the top of the First Division.
The Dundee-born player was part of the team that reached the 2009 Scottish Cup final only to lose out to Peter Houston's men.
