Fans of SPL clubs have now assessed their squads after the dealings of the January transfer window.

In January we asked fans what they hoped for from the window, now we see if their teams delivered. Kilmarnock fan Scott Neil lets us know how his team fared.

How do you think your club did in the January window? Was there one standout piece of business that your team made during the window?

We did great business. A few new faces and we got rid of some deadwood!! We needed another centre half as Kroca and Sissoko have left most of Rugby Park with no fingernails, so bringing Michael Nelson to the club brings a bit more solidity and communication to the back four.

Is there one player that you are pleased that your team managed to keep hold of during January?

Keeping Dean Shiels was a great bit of business considering he took a big financial hit to make his move permanent!

Which team, other than your own, looks stronger after the January window? Any that anyone else made that you'd have fancied?

Aberdeen negotiated a few good deals with Mark Reynolds, Stephen Hughes, and captain Russell Anderson coming back, but I wouldn't of minded handing Gavin Rae a short term deal as he was a standout in our two recent games with Dundee.

Has the business that your team has done changed your expectations for the season?

Yes, because during the first half of the season I would have aimed to stay in the division but now the squad is a lot stronger top six is a must.

Do you think the business your team did during the window will help or hinder crowds at your home games?

Hopefully a few of the 17,000 that were at Hampden for the semi-final against Ayr will turn up at Rugby Park in the future. If you have been going to Killie games recently you know the entertainment value has been of a high level, but football is an expensive day out now so it's hard getting the fans back when a lot of them have lost their jobs with a lot of the town's factories shutting in recent years.
