Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon was happy with his side’s second clean sheet in a row as they drew 0-0 with Aberdeen at Easter Road.
The capital club moved one point clear of Dunfermline at the bottom of the table and Fenlon was pleased with another strong defensive performance from his players.
Hibs could have claimed all three points but Dons goalkeeper Jason Brown pulled off a series of good saves.
After keeping a clean sheet in the Scottish Cup win over Kilmarnock, Fenlon hailed his defence.
He said: "We were a little bit disappointed we didn't pick up the three points, but we were pleased with a lot of it as well.
"There were some good performances and again we were defensively solid, which was a big plus for us, with two clean sheets in a row, which hasn't happened in a while."
The Irishman was pleased with Jorge Claros’ debut and believes there’s more to come from the Honduran.
He said: "He hasn't done a lot with us, his English is not brilliant, but I think he will get better.
"As the game wore on he got better today. I think he started a bit sluggish but got to the pace of it. He's going to be a tidy player for us."
And Fenlon believes his new recruits have added energy to his squad.
He said: "They're working hard for each other. A lot of them have come in to prove a point and to kick on their careers.
"They're gelling as a group."
