Inverness Caledonian Thistle boss Terry Butcher felt his side deserved a point from their trip to Celtic Park.
Joe Ledley’s goal was enough to give the home side victory but Inverness put on a strong showing.
Daniel Majstorovic was sent off for Celtic but Butcher feels his men didn’t make the most of their numerical advantage before Steve Williams saw red.
He said: "I am pleased with my players' performance but very disappointed that we didn't get something from the match.
"I don't think we ever have a better chance of getting something from Celtic Park than today, particularly when Celtic went down to 10 men.
"We didn't capitalise on it and didn't do enough."
Speaking about Williams’ red card, Butcher spoke cryptically about Georgios Samaras’ involvement.
He said: "My own player has already been booked and he leaves a leg in and Samaras is in the incident which gets one of my players sent off again.
"Maybe it's coincidence. I am not blaming him (Samaras), I am just saying he was involved in the incident."
