Neil Lennon has admitted that he feels sympathy for the situation of his Rangers counterpart Ally McCoist.
Ally McCoist has had to deal with a club in crisis amidst talk of a reduction in his playing staff and scrutiny over the finances of his club, and Lennon feels for the Rangers boss.
Lennon said: "It's obviously a very difficult time for people at the club. For a club of that stature to be in this situation is nonsense really.
"I have a lot of sympathy for my counterpart, Ally, and what he's going through, particularly in his first season as manager."
However, Lennon was more scathing about some of the other figures involved in the club, saying: "As regards sympathy for the rest of the people who brought this on, I don't have much at all."
