Dundee United defender Gavin Gunning believes those in attendance at Tannadice on Tuesday night will “get their money’s worth” from his side’s clash with Kilmarnock.
The last two encounters between the two clubs have ended in 1-1 draws, with spectacular goals lighting up both games.
United will be looking to improve upon a poor showing at St Mirren at the weekend, while Killie go into the game having defeated Rangers at Ibrox.
"I would say the fans will probably get their money's worth from this game," said Gunning.
"We missed a good few chances the last time we played against Kilmarnock down there but hopefully we can take them this time and get a win.
"We have been doing well in the past few weeks but obviously it wasn't our best game against St Mirren.
"It was probably two points dropped but that's the kind of game you can lose so it's not too bad getting a point.
"The fans probably didn't enjoy it but there are going to be games like that in the season. But in saying that, if you get a result it doesn't really matter. Hopefully we get a win against Kilmarnock and then leapfrog them."
"They are a very good footballing team but hopefully we can cause them some problems and score a few goals against them. We like to play as well so it should be a good, open game."
