Defender Michael Hart has signed for St Johnstone until the end of the season.
The former Aberdeen and Livingston defender left Hibernian in January, having spent 18 months at Easter Road, making 29 appearances.
“Michael is a good, experienced pro and I’m pleased to get him on board," St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas told the club's official website.
"We are heading into the time of the season where injuries and suspensions can have an impact and he gives us a bit of insurance in that respect.
"It’s an arrangement which suits both the club and the player.”
Lomas also allowed striker Carl Finnigan to leave on loan on Tuesday, with the player moving to Dundee for the remainder of the campaign.
