Pat Fenlon knows the majority of his starting line-up for the Scottish Cup final, with only a couple of place up for grabs.
Hibs’ fringe men get a final chance to impress the boss at Inverness this Saturday with some key men being wrapped in cotton wool ahead of Hampden.
Fenlon, whose side secured their SPL status with a 4-0 win over Dunfermline on Monday, said: “We’ve got most of it, there’s one or two positions that we’ll look at.
“We may change the way we play a little bit so that might mean a change of personnel, but I think we know most of them as long as they’re fit.
“It’s been difficult but I think we’ve managed to [forget about the final] and that’s a tribute to everyone round here that the focus stayed on Dunfermline.
“Dunfermline was a bigger game than the cup final for us and I’m delighted to get that out the way and we can relax a bit now without that hanging over us.”
First team names James McPake (groin), Tom Soares (Achilles), Pa Kujabi (hamstring) and Jorge Claros (foot) are all unlikely to be risked in the Highlands but Fenlon assured supporters that the team would be going out for the win.
He said: “There’s two or three of them in there at the moment carrying little niggles and knocks so we will plan to change one or two of them around.
“We want to go and try and win the game as well, so it’s important that we put a team out that’s capable of getting a result up there. There will be players who play who will also play in the final, that’s for sure.”
