Towering above other great individual performances this week was Celtic’s Victor Wanyama.
While Andrew Shinnie, Danny Grainger and Johnny Russell all staked a claim for the title, the Hoops’ midfield star's goals and all-round performance were out of the top drawer.
Wanyama has steadily grown into Neil Lennon’s team, cementing midfield rather than defence as his best position, and chipping in regularly with goals.
On the flip side, the goalkeeper in front of him at St Mirren Park gets the Dafty title this week for a howler to let in Efe Ambrose for a goal.
Craig Samson seemed to have Charlie Mulgrew’s free kick in his grasp when it squirmed out and fell perfectly for the Celtic defender to net.
Uncharacteristic as it was for the Buddies’ keeper, the multiple replay angles do nothing to soften the blow.
