There are few more daunting trips in football but Celtic travel to Barcelona in search of valuable Champions League points on Tuesday night.
The bookies, unsurprisingly, have the Spanish giants as clear favourites but Celtic manager Neil Lennon has vowed he won’t park the bus at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova is facing a selection headache with Gerard Pique, Carles Puyol, Daniel Alves, Eric Abidal and Sergio Busquets all missing. However, he is confident that the players he drafts in can do a job and with the youth system having produced star after star there’s little reason to doubt him.
Celtic are thinking positively though. Miku has said that Celtic will approach their Champions League group match against Barcelona with belief that they can cause an upset and return from Catalonia with three points.
And Neil Lennon has said he is counting on his players to stand up and be counted.
“I’m hoping for 11 or 14 heroes tomorrow night, not just one," he said. "Along the way already, players have made their name in this competition for us and I’m hoping a few more will do that on Tuesday.
Grant and Andy have looked at Barca’s defensive problems, Celtic’s scoring prowess and one off-field event that just might put Barca’s star man off his game.
