Joe Ledley and Gary Hooper are also back in the team, with Kris Commons, Beram Kayal and Tony Watt dropping out.
Neil Lennon picks eight of the team which won 2-0 at Aberdeen at the weekend, sticking with a settled back four of Mikael Lustig, Adam Matthews, Efe Ambrose and Kelvin Wilson, with Fraser Forster in goal.
Victor Wanyama and Charlie Mulgrew retain their places in midfield, while Georgios Samaras again plays but is likely to be deployed in a targetman role against the Portuguese side.
