Aberdeen players have admitted their frustration that the club does not have its own training facilities.
The Dons stars currently get changed at Pittodrie before being bussed to a location where they can train in a different part of the city.
Young star Ryan Jack said it was frustrating as could put potential new signings off the club.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Jack said: “The club is trying to attract big players and it is not ideal for a club the size of Aberdeen not to have its own training facilities.
“We have just got to keep our heads on the football side of things. It is frustrating. Obviously it would be good to have out own training facilities.
“I don’t know if not having it is holding the club back but the players know what their bodies need.”
Goalkeeper Jason Brown, on international duty with Wales for their friendly with Mexico in New York, took to Twitter to address fans concerns after he criticised the training arrangements at the club.
Brown, who has a year to run on his deal at Pittodrie, was reacting to news that Aberdeen’s move to new purpose-built stadium has been delayed by a further year.
He wrote: “I think the stadium can wait because we should have our own training facilities. That would not only benefit the senior players but the young ones as well.”
