Aberdeen have signed Nigerian striker Danny Uchechi from Dender FC.
Uchechi, who has represented his country at Under-20 and Under-23 level, was on trial at Aberdeen last summer but no deal was agreed.
However a six-month deal has been agreed with Aberdeen having the option of extending the deal .
The 22-year-old started his career at Charlton Athletic, but turned down a move to Wigan to sign for West Ham in 2009. After leaving London he moved back to Nigerian football with FC Dender before a loan spell with Leicester City last term.
Uchechi was the first player to win Soccer AM's skill school, and won man-of-the-match as Nigeria won the Intercontinental Cup in a final against Australia in 2008. He also played three times during Nigeria's Olympic games campaign.
In addition to Uchechi's arrival, Dons boss Craig Brown has added Mark Reynolds, Stephen Hughes and Gavin Rae to his squad during the January window. There will be no further arrivals at Pittodrie this window.
