Aberdeen's Robert Milsom likely to need further surgery on knee injury

Aberdeen midfielder Robert Milsom will not return to first-team action this season, after Craig Brown suggested that he will need a second operation.

The Englishman has been out of action for the Dons since January after going under the knife, and his manager says that another operation may be necessary to clear up the injury.

Brown said: "A disappointment this week is that Rob Milsom is likely to need another operation to tidy up the cartilege in his knee.

"That's a disappointment. Rob is going back down to London at the start of the week."

Craig Brown also revealed that Mark Reynolds is battling a virus and that Rory Fallon missed training and is a doubt for the match with Dunfermline.
