Aberdeen have announced teenager Clark Robertson has signed a new three-year contract to keep him with the club.
The 18-year-old is a product of the Pittodrie side’s youth academy and made his debut against Hamilton in May 2010.
Robertson has made 12 appearances this season, including starting the club’s Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Hibernian at Hampden last month.
His new deal with Craig Brown’s team will run until the summer of 2015.
In his breakthrough season in 2009/10 Robertson made three appearances. The following season saw him play 14 times, including the 9-0 defeat to Celtic under Mark McGhee.
After a break from first-team action he regained his place in April 2011 and played most matches until the end of the 2010/11 campaign.
He played in the club’s second match of the season, a 1-0 loss to St Mirren but didn’t feature again until January.
