Aberdeen manager Craig Brown was once again left to rue his team’s inability to take their chances as they drew 1-1 with Kilmarnock.
It is the third time in four meetings that the two sides have shared the spoils, with the Ayrshire side winning the other encounter 2-0.
After seeing Josh Magennis hit the post and Scott Vernon’s goal ruled out for offside, Brown felt his team deserved all three points.
He said: "I think an independent observer would think we were unlucky; I'm just disappointed that we didn't get the three points that would have given us a chance to try and get above Kilmarnock and St Mirren in the league.
"It was good that Jamie Masson got a goal in only his second game in the first team; he's done well since he's come in.
"Over on the left isn't his best position, as he's a central midfield player, but he has composure on the ball, keeps possession and passes it well.
"We can only complain that we didn't score the goals - it's been the complaint all season, but it was very unfortunate that Josh hit the post in the first half, as it would have killed the game if we'd managed to go 2-0 up at half-time.
"The thing I'd compliment the players on was their attitude, which was really good and has been all season."
