Alloa will be without defender Ryan Harding when they host Elgin City.

Harding is suspended following his sending-off against Montrose last Saturday, but midfielder Stevie Masterton may return after a knee injury.

A win could see Alloa secure the title if Stranraer falter at Clyde.

However, manager Paul Hartley said: "We are only looking at winning this game and nothing else. That approach has done us well all season so I am not changing anything now.

"Elgin are the only side to have beaten us twice this season and that is warning enough that we cannot take anything for granted.

"They have plenty to play for as well so we need to be ready to go out and battle for the three points."

Elgin defender Mark Durnan is back in the squad after a two-game ban.

The Borough Briggs side have Paul Kaczan and Ross O'Donoghue missing through injury with Jamie Duff and Brian Cameron facing late checks.

Manager Ross Jack wants his side take on the role of party poopers.

Jack said: "Alloa will be hoping that Stranraer fail at Clyde and that they can clinch the title by beating ourselves, however we need the win just as much as they do."

"They will be crowned champions at some stage but if we can delay things, regardless of what happens elsewhere, it will have been a good day for us as we look to secure our first ever play-off place."
