STV will broadcast Celtic’s Champions League third qualifying round first leg match with Helsingborgs IF.
The game, which will be played on Tuesday, August 21 with a 7.45pm kick-off, will be shown on TV and on the STV Sport website. Coverage will start at 7.30pm.
Celtic are facing Swedish opposition for the first time in European competition, as they attempt to reach the group stages of the Champions League for the first time since the 2008/09 season.
Neil Lennon’s men booked their place in the final qualifying stage after beating HJK Helsinki 4-1 on aggregate in the third round.
Their opponents beat The New Saints 3-0 on aggregate, before an impressive 6-1 thumping of Slask Wroclaw in the third qualifying round.
Helsingborg, the reigning Swedish champions from the 2011 season, currently occupy fifth spot and are seven points behind this season’s leaders IF Elfsborg.
Celtic hero Henrik Larsson famously had two spells with the Swedes between 1992-93 and 2006-09.
Former Rangers midfielder Alejandro Bedoya also recently signed for the club following an unsuccessful year at Ibrox.
