Mark Wilson is a reported summer transfer target for Middlesbrough. The News of the World report the Celtic full-back, who has been with the Glasgow club since a move from Dundee United in 2006, is wanted by his former boss Gordon Strachan.
Boro are well-known to already have four ex-Celtic players on their books on a permanent basis with a fifth, Stephen McManus, on loan until the end of the current season.
Strachan swooped in the January transfer window to take Barry Robson, Scott McDonald, Willo Flood and Chris Killen to the Riverside along with McManus and is said to now want to add Wilson to that contingent as he builds his squad for a second attempt at winning promotion back to the English Premier League.
Wilson has struggled to establish himself as a regular pick at Celtic Park, with a succession of injuries blighting his career. This season, while being mainly fit throughout, he has played just 13 times.
He has enjoyed a run of playing time of late however, featuring in seven games between March 7 and the victory over Dundee United on April 25. Wilson was an unused substitute in the weekend win against Motherwell, with Edson Braafheid and Andreas Hinkel preferred in the full-back positions.
Middlesbrough have been linked with a whole host of players plying their trade in Scotland for next season and Livingston youngster Andy Halliday has already been recruited to offer an attacking verve on the left hand side of midfield.

Rangers' out-of-contract forward Nacho Novo and Dundee United pair Morgaro Gomis and Craig Conway have also been mentioned as possible signings for Boro, who will know by 4pm on Sunday where they will finish in this season's Championship.
A play-off spot was already unavailable to them going into the final day match at Leicester and defeat could see them drop from their current placing of eighth – the highest spot they can finish in – to 11th.
