Celtic midfielder Ki Sung Yueng has agreed "in principle" to move to Swansea City.

The 23-year-old has is expected to travel to Wales over the deal in the coming days, according to Huw Jenkins, the chairman of the English Premier League side.

Ki had reportedly interested Arsenal and Queens Park Rangers this summer.

But, Swansea agreed a fee of over £5m with Celtic for the former FC Seoul man earlier this week.

On Wednesday, Swansea chairman Jenkins told STV: "The player will travel to conclude the deal in the next 48 hours.

"We’re very excited of the prospect of signing Ki who will be a good addition to the squad."

Ki is currently in South Korea after representing the international side in their Bronze medal-winning performance at the London 2012 Olympics.
