Celtic are back in the big time on Wednesday night as Benfica pay visit to Glasgow's east end for the opening game in the Champions League group stages.
The Portuguese side are without their captain Luisao for his referee-pushing antics, further hindering a team which lost Javi Garcia and Axel Witsel without bringing in replacements at the end of the window.
Leaving the big time, Rangers were dumped out of the Ramsdens (Challenge) Cup on Tuesday by Queen of the South, the Second Division side narrowly avoiding a massive upset.
There's plenty talking being done off the park too. Charles Green has shrugged his shoulders again at the Scottish FA, and his counterpart at Celtic, Peter Lawwell, says he can smell something in the air.
