Celtic manager Neil Lennon says Scott Brown is likely to miss one of Scotland’s two World Cup qualifiers against Wales and Belgium.
The 27-year-old is a doubt for the Hoops’ game against Hearts on Sunday as he continues to manage an on-going hip problem.
The injury kept he midfielder out of the country’s opening two qualifiers against Serbia and Macedonia.
And Parkhead boss Lennon said: "I have spoken to Craig and he knows what the situation is.
"He will go to Scotland and he will play but I don't know if he will be able to play the two games."
Brown has made nine appearances for the club so far this season.
