Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama has been named as the Scottish Premier League's Young Player of the Month for December.
The Kenyan, who moved to Scotland from Beerschot AC in the summer, made five league appearances for Neil Lennon's side in the last month of 2011.
Wanyama, who plays as a defensive midfielder, also got himself on the scoresheet with the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Hearts on December 10.
The 20-year-old has made a total of 24 appearances for the club, having also appeared as a makeshift central defender on occasion.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon won the prize for Manager of the Month, with St Mirren's Paul McGowan the SPL's Player of the Month.
