Dundee United manager Peter Houston expressed his pride after seeing his team record their first win over Celtic this season.
Midfielder Scott Robertson was on hand to head home after 21 minutes in the club’s final home game of the season.
The win assures the Terrors of a place in Europe next term with another big turnaround of players expected in the summer.
And Houston, who was under pressure earlier in the campaign, enjoyed the win against the SPL champions. United had been beaten 5-0 by Rangers in midweek, a performance which left the Scotland assistant boss "embarrassed".
But he was a happier man after this encounter, saying: "I was proud of them this time.
"I was hoping for a reaction and I got a reaction."
