Dundee have announced the signing of Mark Kerr on a contract for the remainder of the season.
The Dark Blues moved to sign the free agent after a successful trial and he will now be available for this weekend's match against Motherwell.
Kerr becomes manager Barry Smith's eight signing since the Dens Park club were invited to join the SPL this summer.
"Once again we are delighted to have a player with Marks experience and ability join us," Smith said.
"He has proven himself as a quality footballer at the highest level in the past and we are sure he will do so once more at Dundee FC".
The 30-year old midfielder has a wealth of experience, having played for four Scottish clubs previously.
After beginning his career at Falkirk and making over 100 appearances for the Bairns, with whom he won the First Division in 2003, Kerr moved to Dundee United.
In a five year stay at Tannadice he became a key player but he opted to move to Aberdeen under freedom of contract in 2008.
After two years at Pittodrie, Kerr signed for Asteras Tripolis in Greece but the move was largely unsuccessful. He spent the second half of last season at Dunfermline but was unable to help the Pars avoid relegation.
