Dundee manager Barry Smith insists he won't drop his side's attacking approach despite suffering a blow in their efforts to avoid relegation, losing 2-0 to Ross County on Friday.
Goals from and Gary Glen Paul Lawson gave County a crucial win over the struggling Dens Park side who now find themselves 14 points adrift at the foot of the SPL table.
However, Smith still believes his offensive approach is the only way his side can avoid the drop.
He said: "It's something we have to keep believing in. We finished with four strikers up the park against Ross County.
"That's how desperate we were to try and get something from the game. We'll continue to give it our best shot and play with as many attacking options as possible.
"I'm sure the fans see what we're trying to do because it's not for the lack of trying where we find ourselves in the table.
"It's tough right now but we have no option but to carry on being positive in how we play."
