Dundee manager Barry Smith praises players' attitude despite SPL struggles

Dundee boss Barry Smith has praised his players attitude despite falling 15 points adrift at the foot of the SPL.

The defeat to Ross County on Friday night left the Dees struggling badly in the drop zone but Smith is focusing on his players ahead of the trip to Aberdeen.

He said: “The boys are looking forward to the game and we want a better performance and result than we got against Ross County.

“The attitude’s been great again this week from the players.

“Last time we were up in Aberdeen, although we lost, the second performance was good and it kicked us on to better results for a wee spell after that.

“I know Craig [Brown] and Archie [Knox] will have them fired up as usual. They have a lot of experience and we know it’s going to be a tricky game.”
