Dundee United have signed midfielder Mark Millar from Falkirk.
The 24-year-old will join up with Peter Houston’s team at the end of next month when his contract at the Bairns expires.
Millar joined Falkirk after being released by Celtic two-years-ago and has built his reputation in the First Division under boss Steven Pressley.
He has signed a three year deal with Dundee United.
Announcing the news, Tannadice boss Houston said Millar has the ability to become a firm favourite with the Arabs faithful.
He said: “In my opinion we have now captured the two best players in division one with Mark Millar and Michael Gardyne.
“Mark has shown the right attitude and mentality in leaving Celtic to go down a division in order to kick start his career. That decision has been vindicated for him in now signing this pre contract agreement which will enable him to showcase his talent at SPL and European level.
“He is a different style of player to those we have here already and the way he plays the game will make him a fans’ favourite here at Tannadice once he arrives.”
