Falkirk defeated Livingston 4-3 thanks to a late David Weatherston strike.
The home side had raced into a 3-0 lead in the first half, Farid El Alagui setting them on their way with a spectacular volley.
Murray Wallace doubled the advantage after 17 minutes with a powerful 18-yard drive, and it was three five minutes from half-time when Jonathan Brown diverted Weatherston's cross into his own net.
Livingston pulled one back when Robert Barr drilled home from close range and Keaghan Jacobs crashed home Livingston's second after the hour mark.
They looked to have rescued a point when Mark Fotheringham curled in a wonderful free-kick, but Weatherston popped up after 85 minutes to slot home from close range.
