Hearts midfielder Scott Robinson says Hearts need the Edinburgh derby every bit as much as Hibernian.
Hibs were defeated 3-0 by Dundee United on the opening weekend of the season, piling the pressure on boss Pat Fenlon as fans look for a response to a poor campaign last season.
Robinson says the problems in the north east if the city have no effect on his team though, as Hearts plot a 12th match unbeaten in the fixture.
The 20-year-old said: “We expect the same old hibs in a derby match – right up for it and wanting to win.
“Both sides are wanting to win and make their fans happy.
“We need it, you can say they need the win but we need the six points to start the season.
“We want to keep building the momentum. I’m not bothered about Hibs’ side of it, we need the win.”
