Hearts manager Paulo Sergio was delighted with the news that his side will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League.
Spurs will travel to Edinburgh on the 18th of August, and face Harry Redknapp's side at White Hart Lane the following week.
But Sergio is not daunted by the draw, and insists that it will be a fixture the fans will relish.
Speaking to Hearts News, the manager said: "This is a very interesting draw for us, for sure.
"No matter who we were drawn against it was going to be a very difficult tie but it is a match which I am sure will capture the imagination.
"There is not much travelling involved for the supporters and of course there will be the Scotland/England rivalry as well.
"But before we can think about this, we have important games in the league against Motherwell and Aberdeen to focus on and that is the priority now."
Hearts sealed their place in the final round of Europa League qualification with a 5-2 aggregate win over Paksi of Hungary.
The fixture marks the first time that the Jambos have faced an English team in European competition, although they have faced each other on nine occasions in friendlies, and in a 1901 "World Championship" between the winners of the Scottish and English Cup winners, when Hearts emerged 3-1 winners.
