Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon says his side got what they deserved in the 4-1 defeat to Motherwell at Fir Park.
Tom Taiwo’s header gave the Easter Road men a 1-0 half-time lead.
But the hosts hit back with goals from Michael Higdon, James McFadden, Kallum Higginbotham and Tom Hateley.
After the match, Fenlon said: "It was very disappointing but we got what we deserved. We didn't play well from start to finish and probably didn't deserve to be ahead at half-time.
"We knew Motherwell would come out and have a go at us in the second half but once they got their early goal we conceded three in 15 minutes. That shouldn't happen with the experienced players we have.
"The second half was very, very poor. We didn't match their aggression or workrate and we didn't stand up to them. We were second best and didn't deserve anything from the game."
