Inverness CT manager Terry Butcher was unhappy with referee George Salmond over two key decisions in his team’s 1-1 draw with Aberdeen.

The official sent off Owain Tudur Jones for a tackle on Ryan Fraser while Butcher wanted a penalty when Aaron Doran went down in the box.

He said: "It was never a red card for Owain. He got there late and the boys just nicked in before him.

"It was a yellow card, but never a red card.

"We then go 1-0 up and have a great chance to make it 2-0, but the referee doesn't give the penalty.

"I spoke to the referee afterwards and he said Aaron Doran scuffed his shot before falling over.

"However, he's the only man in the planet who saw that."
