Shinnie: one of five new arrivals in the Highlands© SNS

Inverness have added two new faces to their squad.

Josh Meekings and Andrew Shinnie have agreed two year contracts with the Highlanders.

Terry Butcher's side have already added Greg Tansey, Gregory Tade and on-loan Watford, and now take their summer additions up to five.

Andrew Shinnie is the brother of current Caley winger Graeme, and has spent the last five years on the books at Rangers, with two spells out on loan at Dundee. He has two Scotland Under 21 caps and one goal.

Meekings is an 18-year-old centre back, who was released by Ipswich Town this summer.

Terry Butcher was delighted to add the pair to his squad, telling the official Inverness Caledonian Thistle website: ""Both have been training with us and have made an excellent impression in our pre-season friendlies.

"I've made offers and both have accepted and the paperwork should be completed in the next few days."
