"Club 12" will open the 2012/13 Scottish Premier League season with an away game against Kilmarnock on August 4.
Last season's champions Celtic will start at home to Aberdeen, before postponing their home game with Dundee United in week two to play a friendly with Real Madrid in Philadelphia.
Club 12's first home game of the season will be against St Mirren on Saturday, August 11. They will play Celtic at Parkhead on Saturday, September 22, before hosting them on Wednesday, December 26.
The first Edinburgh derby of the season will be played at Easter Road on August 11, with Hearts at home on January 2 and then Hibernian again hosting on March 9.
SPL secretary Iain Blair also announced the reintroduction of the winter break in January 2013, adding: "Supporters have often told us that they favour a winter break. Indeed, we have always been open to reviving the break but fitting it into the schedule can be a problem.
"With no World Cup or European Championship next summer, we are able to finish our own season slightly later and incorporate a shutdown covering two weekends in January."
