Mahamadou Sissoko has signed on for a second loan spell at Kilmarnock, with Udinese allowing the defender to return to Rugby Park.

The 23-year-old made 31 appearances for Kenny Shiels' side last campaign but returned to Italy in the summer, with a deal to bring him back to the SPL looking unlikely.

Shiels though has been successful in being reunited with Sissoko on transfer deadline day, with the French-born player heading back to the club until the end of the 2011/12 campaign.

Kilmarnock are working to process the player's paperwork before the midnight deadline, with Sissoko due to fly in from Italy later this week.
