Kilmarnock have signed Celtic youngster Lewis Toshney on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old who can play at centre-back and right-back has joined the Ayrshire side for training today.
Under the terms of the deal he won't be able to play against his parent club in the League Cup final on March 18.
Toshney’s only first team appearance came last season in a 3-0 win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie and Celtic hope his spell at Rugby Park will give the youngster valuable SPL experience.
The Dundee-born teenager has represented Scotland at both Under-17 and Under-19 levels.
Toshney tweeted: “First day at killie today! Looking forward to the games ahead.”
The player has also featured in Celtic's Next Genertation series this season.
