Queen's Park need a point from their trip to Montrose to be sure of a play-off place however they will be without Jamie Brough.

The defender misses out due to work commitments while full-back Darryl Meggat is a doubt with an ankle injury, with Paul Gallagher set to travel north in case Meggat fails a fitness test.

Striker Michael Daly is available after a foot problem.

Head coach Gardner Speirs said: "We will be approaching this game with the objective of getting the win that will allow us to be in the play-offs.

"We also want the win as I believe if that you cannot win the league then you should aim for the next highest position which is second."

Montrose have centre-back pairing Jonathan Smart and Alan Campbell back in their squad after suspension as they host Queens Park looking to end a run of 13 consecutive defeats to the Glasgow side.

Dougie Cameron drops out due to a one-game suspension however bustling striker Garry Wood could make his comeback after returning to training this week after an ankle injury.

Gable Endies boss Ray Farningham said: "It would be great to put an end to our run of disappointing results against Queens.

"We played really well against Peterhead last week and were very unlucky to be defeated but if I get the same level of performance and a better conversion rate from our chances I am sure we will do well."
