Elgin will be without midfielder Ross O'Donoghue as they look to take a huge step to securing the last remaining promotion play-off place by seeing off visitors Montrose.
O'Donoghue picked up a back injury in last Saturday's battling 3-3 draw at Berwick and he joins the injured Paul Kaczan and Daniel Moore on the side-lines.
Elsewhere, goalkeeper Zander Clark is available again after suspension.
Manager Ross Jack said: "We are certainly making it hard for ourselves in terms of getting over the finishing line but hopefully we can do it against Montrose.
They are a useful side and it will not be easy, but hopefully the backing of a big crowd at Borough Briggs will help us take another step closer to getting there."
Montrose are without Sean Crighton through work commitments as they pursue a third consecutive win.
The Gable Endies have David Di Milta and David McGowan unavailable due to injury and midfielder Jamie Winter is struggling with a groin problem.
Manager Ray Farningham said: "We finally achieved two wins in a row this season last weekend and now I am looking for the third one.
"I want us to keep winning games and have players really looking forward to coming back here after the break.
"Elgin have a lot to play for but we also want to ensure Clyde do not overtake us in eighth place so we need a win to help with that."
